Development Officer – Building Community Resilience

Salary: NJC Scale Points 26–28 (£37,280–£39,152)
Location: Hybrid working (Belfast office, home-based working and travel across Northern Ireland)
Hours: 35 hours per week (some evening and weekend work required)
Contract: Fixed-term for 3 years

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Development Officer to join our exciting new Stronger Together: Building Community Resilience programme.

Working alongside communities across Northern Ireland, you’ll help design and deliver initiatives that strengthen community resilience, develop local leadership, tackle racism and misinformation, promote inclusion, and ensure community voices help shape policy and practice. You’ll build trusted relationships with community organisations, partners and stakeholders while supporting workshops, events, advocacy activity and collaborative projects that create lasting social change.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in community development, partnership working or programme delivery who is passionate about equality, inclusion and creating positive change.
