Our Endowment ensures that we’ll be here to serve and support the community in Northern Ireland for generations to come.

And because we’re a registered charity, you can donate tax efficiently when you give through us.

Start a fund

Starting a fund through the Community Foundation is similar to having your own charitable trust or foundation. You gain the benefits of tax efficient giving but do not have the inconvenience of administration, governance, recruiting trustees, auditing accounts and reporting to regulators. We take care of all that.

Whatever your reasons or motivations for giving, it’s quick and easy to start. You can be actively involved or hands off. You can even choose to remain anonymous if you wish. With access to our grants management expertise and community knowledge you’ll receive advice on the needs in your areas of interest, full due diligence on all groups as well as regular feedback and reports on how your fund is helping to change lives and make a difference.
