Our Vision:

Consensus-building dialogues and capacity-building political education workshops for marginalised citizens: Building a unified civic society voice and vision in a divided society.

Project aims:

For a NI-wide transformation of marginalised, polarised, citizens who are alienated from politics and lack participatory skills, into an up-skilled, empowered and united non-party-political civic movement and voice espousing a shared vision for the future.

By delivering this project we hope to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Marginalised, polarised citizens in a divided society will develop peacebuilding attitudes, skills and behaviours.
  • Marginalised, polarised citizens in a divided society will ahieve agreed responses to contentious issues.
  • Marginalised, polarised citizens in a divided society will use learning to participate in positive community responses to contentious issues.
  • Marginalised, polarised citizens in a divided society will have the skills and confidence to engage decision-makers/influencers on contentious issues
  • A cross sectoral coalition representing/including diverse marginalised, polarised constituencies evolves which will engage decision-makers/influencers on contentious issues and impact on decision-making processes.
