As Covid-19 continues to restrict what was considered normal community interactions and activities, many of our community and voluntary sector groups have seen their annual fundraising plans postponed or indeed shelved. For those groups with facilities to manage, this has placed additional burdens on what are very scarce resources and will require new thinking and methods to secure funding that will allow these facilities and the activities that they host to play a vital role as we build the “New Normal”.
.
In the midst of this crisis, few community and voluntary sector groups have had the space or indeed the expertise to take time to look at what a new fundraising plan might look like. The Community Foundation is pleased to partner with Clayton Rowe from the Saben Group to offer two “Fundraising in the Midst of Crisis Workshops” that will take groups through a step by step process towards designing a sustainable way forward.
